This 2018-19 School Year the Rosholt High School and Middle Schools are putting emphasis on a number of important areas. The first initiative places a special emphasis on literacy skills. A more direct focus will be placed on vocabulary usage in the content area. As many of you are aware the State is requiring all students to take the ACT during their junior year, and it is our hope that through setting high expectations and focusing on vocabulary our students will be prepared for those assessments. Along with high expectations for academics, we are also setting high expectations in the area of behavior. The environment has to be positive for students to achieve at their highest ability, and we will review expectations with students repeatedly as the school year proceeds. I, as Principal, am asking for the community’s help as we attempt to provide a safe and positive environment for our students. If ever a parent feels their child has been harassed or bullied in any way please contact the Middle/High School Office so we can address the situation together. I am truly excited about this school year, and am proud of the students in Rosholt.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact me at 715-677-4541.
