The Athletic Training Rules meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 31 at 6 p.m. in the auditorium. All 7-12th grade student-athletes and their parents are required to attend. Even if you are "just thinking about going out for a sport" you must attend this meeting. Important topics covered in this meeting will include:
The WIAA's rule concerning the residence and transfer rules as well as required parental permission/signature on file. The State Legislature has a concussion education law that must be reviewed and signed.
Before a student-athlete takes the field of play, all permission must be provided - no exceptions. This requirement includes athletic training rules and physical cards. Athletic packets will be handed out that night. All athletic fees can be paid this evening as well.
In addition, there will be a mandatory coach's meeting that will be held at 5:15 p.m. prior to the athletic meeting.
