This week's Throwback Thursday takes a look at students from Madison School in 1963, back when some students still attended at their nearest schoolhouse. The Madison schoolhouse still stands (and is a private residence) on County Road J, south or Northstar.

This week is School Psychologist appreciation week. We are so fortunate to have Ms. Dorey Delikowski on our team. Ms. Delikowski does so much for students and families that many people don't even realize. From evaluating students and communicating with families to navigate challenges, to assisting teachers to optimize their strategies for the best interest of students, Ms. Delikowski makes a difference for our student body every day. Thank you for your hard work Ms. Delikowski!

Marathon County Special Education is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional for the Rosholt School District.

This is a Monday through Friday position, starting at $15/hr

Associate Degree or two years of college and/or CNA license helpful but not required.

Selection of the successful candidate is made by assessment of experience and education, criminal record check, oral interview; review of references, and other appropriate job-related selection procedures.

STOP THE PROP! 🐝
Rosholt School District has launched a new safety campaign to help keep our buildings secure and our students safe.

Staff, students, and visitors are reminded not to prop open exterior doors — and to close any they find left open. It’s a simple action that makes a big difference!

Our hardworking custodial crew, is placing bright red “Stop the Prop” stickers on every exterior door around school as a visual reminder.

💬 “We have to protect our kids, no matter what, and it takes a team effort to do that,” said Superintendent Dennis Kaczor. “Everyone plays a role in keeping our buildings safe.”

The National FFA Convention is taking place right now in Indianapolis and we know Rosholt FFA members are there making us proud representing their school and their chapter. In honor of the convention, this week's Throwback Thursday takes a look at FFA members from 1980. Tag your friends! Who do you know?

Our freshman on the field trip are running about 20 minutes late. Buses will not leave until they get here. Buses should be leaving around 3:45.

Throwback Thursday! How fun that the "Spirit of '76" had rope pulling winners! However, these photos did not have a caption with names, so it is up Facebook friends to identify these strongbodies from that year.

The Rosholt High School Student Council will be holding a Halloween food drive. Student Council members will collect unexpired, non-parishable food items during trick-or-treating in the Rosholt Village on Sunday October 26th from 5 to 7pm. All food donations will be taken to the Rosholt Food Pantry. Please consider leaving a small bag of donations for Student Council members to collect. If your house is not in the village or gets missed, you can drop off your donations at the Rosholt High School office on Monday October 27th. THANK YOU from the Rosholt Student Council!

This week's Throwback Thursday has us going way back to 1966 for a look at the student council that year. Do you see anyone that you recognize?

If you'd like your child to get a flu vaccine at school, we need the forms back by this Friday, Oct 17! If you need a form, let Mrs. Cline know and she will send one home.

Grade 6 science students took part in a "saving Fred" lab. For this lab they had to use critical thinking to save Fred (a gummy worm!) from his capsized boat and put on his life preserver without poking, drowning (or eating) poor Fred. This required the use of various lab tools to take measurements.

MS and HS Parent Teacher Conferences will be held again tonight. Teachers will be in their classrooms at your convenience from 4-7:30.
