New Staff Alert! Everyone please extend a warm Rosholt welcome to our new 4th grade teacher, Mr. Koback!

My name is Devin Koback and I am super excited to be joining the Rosholt School District as a 4th grade teacher! I am originally from Stevens Point where I graduated from SPASH (2019) and UWSP (2026) with a degree in elementary education. I have had experiences at the elementary level in the Stevens Point School District as an educational assistant (grades 4K-6) and as a pre-service/student teacher (grade 6). Most recently, I taught a summer school class called “Travel Around the World” for 3rd and 4th grade students. I spend quite a bit of time at the bowling alleys in Stevens Point and Plover where I work as a second job, but also serve as a middle and high school bowling coach. I am also an avid sports follower. Vikings and Brewers are the teams I enjoy watching the most. I am also a huge WWE fan and try to attend every WWE event that takes place in Wisconsin. I even had the opportunity to attend a large WWE event in Minnesota this summer. I can’t wait to kick off the 2026-2027 school year and be a part of the Rosholt school community!

New Staff Alert! Bella Walkowski will be joining us this fall as a secondary english teacher. Welcome Ms. Walkowski! We are happy to have you.
Hello my name is Bellarene Walkowski and I am the newest member of The English team at Rosholt High School. I grew up in Rhinelander WI and moved to Fond Du Lac WI where I completed my bachelors in English at Marian University with a minor in Psychology. During my college years, I was a part of the Women’s Bowling Team and Student Senate. This will be my first teaching position outside of college, and I’m extremely excited to meet my students and their families. I live with my cat, Junie B, in the Waupaca area. When I’m not at school, I’m planning my next trip, reading a book, or playing on my Play Station. I also bowl in a league with some of my former college teammates. I can’t wait to meet everyone and look forward to the upcoming school year!

We feel so lucky and happy to share, Ms. T-L is back!
Hello, Rosholt Hornets! For those who remember me and those I have yet to meet, my name is Mary Tierney-Ley. After retiring four years ago following a rewarding career as an elementary teacher, I am excited to return to the Rosholt School District full-time as a 6th grade math teacher and math interventionist. Although I officially retired, I never stepped away from the classroom, spending the past four years serving as a substitute and half-time 6th grade teacher. I live in Stevens Point and have one adult daughter who lives in Minneapolis. During my free time, I enjoy traveling, walking/hiking, and cheering on the Wisconsin Badgers. I look forward to reconnecting with familiar families and colleagues while building meaningful relationships with a new group of students. I am excited for another wonderful year of learning at Rosholt.

Today's Throwback Thursday is the 1981 Pep Club wearing their "Hustlin' Hornets" shirts. The Pep Club goals were things like "to urge students to always conduct themselves with the greatest respect for each other, to instill enthusiasm, unity, self confidence and leadership" to name only a few.
