Freshman year when I rode my four wheeler to school with all the guys.

That I like to have fun.

If you want something, work for it.

For Teacher Appreciation Week our Throwback Thursday is very special. It is the graduation photos of our teachers who graduated from Rosholt. We are proud of these graduates and are grateful they have chosen to share their teaching talents right here at home. Their understanding of our school and community surely contributes to forming OUR students into lifelong learners. Today is School Nurse Appreciation Day. These ladies take care of EVERYONE and do so with a smile on their face. Whether its for bumps, bruises, cuts, headaches or just plain feeling yucky, they know just what to do and make everyone feel better. Thank you for everything Ms. Baranek and Ms. Feltz!

What are your future plans?
I will be attending the University of Minnesota in Duluth, majoring in Psychology.
What is the most surprising thing you have learned about yourself in high school?
That it's nice to be friends with everyone but I don't have to be.
If you could re-live one day of your high school experience, which would it be and why?
Freshman year, Homecoming. It was the best dance we ever had and it was fun with the Senior class when we were Freshmen.
Which teacher or staff member has had the most impact on you? Ms. Paulson. During middle school, she kept me on track and helped me when needed help. She got to know me as a person.
What is one piece of advice that you would give to an incoming freshman?
Fishish you work right away because it is easier than trying to catch up. Grades do matter all 4 years of high school. Freshman year I didn't get great grades and it is affecting my overall GPA now.
What was your favorite thing to eat in the school cafeteria? Walking tacos.
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
Lana Delray. She has been my favorite artist for four years and her music has helped me through high school.
What is your go-to vending machin snack? Cheeze Ritz Bites.
What is your dream vacation? I am looking forward to studying abroad in Ireland during the summer of 2027.
What is one thing most people do not know about you?
I used to go to Newman Catholic, then my house burned down and we moved here. So I have a lot of friends in Wausau and go there almost every day.

Astronomy students in Mrs. Pliska's class brought science to the kindergarteners in Mrs. Hartvig and Mrs. Mork's classes. Students demonstrated activities on constellations, craters, orbital motion, galaxies and lunar eclipses. It is evident that science is fun at all age levels and it is great to see the older students pass on their love of learning!!

The Throwback Thursday photo today is the class officers from the class of 2013 when they were sophmores.

Tomorrow is Principal Appreciation Day. We are grateful to have 2 amazing leaders in our principals, Mrs. Mary Cline, Elementary Principal and Mrs. April Stiles, Secondary Principal. They care a great deal and keep everything running smooth. They are both extremely hard working and dedicated to our students and staff alike. Please take a moment to show your appreciation.

Today is School Lunch Hero Appreciation Day and we would like to express our gratitude for our incredible food service team! They create and serve delicious meals to our entire school every day and do so with a smile on their face. Did you know that many of our menu items are made from scratch? Today's Senior Spotlight is on Jacob Grezinski
What are your future plans?
I will attend the Northcentral Technical College Dairy Science program and will be working on my family's farm.
What is the most surprising thing you have learned about yourself in high school?
That I have an ambition and great work ethic to work on things and a passion for working on our dairy farm. I have my own dairy cows and I sell maple syrup that I make. Since freshman year I went from 2 taps to 230 taps.
If you could re-live one day of your high school experience, which would it be and why?
The day I got my driver's license because it meant I could drive myself and get to school later.
Which teacher or staff member had the most impact on you? Mrs. Lampi-Bucknell. She gives me motivation to keep working and look forward to other things.
What is one piece of advice that you would give to an incoming freshman? Don't procrastinate! Get your work done or it will bite you and you will get swamped.
What was your favorite thing to eat in the school cafeteria? Burgers or cheese fries.
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be and why? My Uncle Mikey. When I was in 2nd grade he passed away. I wish I could know him better.
What is your dream vacation? Any open spaces. Not the city.
Do you like to travel or are you a homebody? I like to stay home.

What are your future plans?
I will be attending Waukesha Technical College and enter the Dental Hygiene program.
What is the most surprising thing you have learned about yourself in high school?
I learned that it is ok to not always be a "people pleaser".
If you could re-live one day of your high school experience, which would it be and why?
I'd re-live freshman year at Career Day when the National Guard hosted a bounce house race. I beat everyone and people got upset about it. That was great and I would re-live that glory day any day.
Which teacher or staff member has had the most impact on you?
Ms. Fuge is kind and is always there for you.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Far away. But not too far.
What is one piece of advice you would give to an incoming freshman?
Do your work and stay on track.
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be and why? Anyone on the Titanic.
What is your dream vacation?
Maldives
What is one thing people don't know about you?
My favorite food is a cheeseburger.

Today Culinary Arts 2 had the pleasure of doing a MRE challenge on food styling.
We are getting ready for plating food to have our very first Restaurant in the foods room!!
It will be for Seniors graduates and any community members or parents who would like to come and celebrate with us.

Students in Mr. Christensen’s Intro to Business class are building real-world skills through a dual credit partnership with Northcentral Technical College (NTC).

Throughout the semester, students have been completing professionalism-focused activities, including creating resumes and cover letters. Most recently, the class explored building a professional presence through LinkedIn.

Because many students are under age 16 and not all are eligible to create official accounts, they designed mock LinkedIn profiles instead. This allowed them to practice how to present their skills, experiences, and goals in a professional format while still following age-appropriate guidelines.

A few students really stood out, and their profiles are displayed here. Great work representing Rosholt and taking steps toward your future!
